Our organization was
originally founded in 1971 as Owens-Illinois Employees Federal
Credit Union. In 1994 the name was changed to Techneglas
FCU to reflect the change in ownership of our sponsor.
In recent years, the credit unions has been allowed to serve
additional employee groups.
In October 2003 the credit
union became Highway Federal Credit Union, and currently
serves 3,400 members from more than a dozen employee groups.
The credit union is governed
by a Board of Directors, elected by our members. Daily operation of the credit
union is overseen by Paul Carey, CEO.
